A five star Haleem! U gotta gotta have haleem here. The Biryani are ok,a tad bit dry tho. The starters are yum and the meats are succulent. All in all a good restaurant but for Haleem, the best joint.

There bakery stuffs are one of best and its so light on your pocket, since the time I have arrived in Hyderabad this place is been my favorite for grilled sandwich(Indian version). Ambiance- Typical Hyderabadi cafe type environment not so great but definitely not bad either, you can sit and talk comfortably, staff are quick in taking order and service is also fast. Food- I have eaten lot of times there puffs, pastry, muffins my favorite is chicken grilled sandwich, cheese grilled sandwich and something new I tried yesterday was Mutton grilled sandwich which was yummy. Loaded with filling which actually make the sandwich so heavy which keep pulling it down..:-) A must try out- Sarvi is good in their bakery and their biryani and Haleem of course undoubtedly. Service- Self service at bakery and its fast...its great when you are damn hungry. Happy gorging...peeps...

After trying few more places our last Haleem stop was sarvy. The best Haleem in town , in terms of taste , presentation , over all garnish with mint, fried onion and lime wedge. It was yummmm! We finished one bowl each as it wasn't oily or cold. Cooked to the perfection. As it was heavy rush we had to stand out and eat then after thirty min we got a table to dine. We ordered biryani and double ka meetha . One of the best biryani to dine out. Spice level and rice quality were perfect . With such a heavy rush also he was able to serve hot food ! To end with we had irani chai , a perfect cup , best part was it was a clean hot.

Rated Some of the best tasting value for money cakes, puffs etc in town. I keep going back for their cakes in particular which are really good value for money and pretty decent. And their salty savouries can also be recommended. Particularly the non veg section. They have a decent seating area for the bakery section too. Recently they opened a restaurant above (for last 1-2 years). Have had food there a couple of times. Tried Marag, Haleem, etc there. - Found the portions for these traditional dishes too small and too bland and dumbed down or globalized to suit a pan Indian taste palate. Their curry dishes, roti naan, biryani though were all pretty decent. But appeared highly overpriced with everything on the menu being more than 300/- plus at a minimum. I recommend the bakery. but found the restaurant unreasonably overpriced with nearby A1 at Punjagutta and Kritunga and all providing far greater value for money for equivalent if not better taste. Bakery: Ambience- 4/10 Food - 7/10 Cost - Pastries are around 40/- each on average. Restaurant: Ambience - 7/10 Food - 7/10 Cost - 400 to 500 per head.

Rated Hungry? Wanna grab a quick bite? Then this is the place for you. Situated on the busy road no. 1, Banjara hills, Sarvi is one of the oldest bakeries in Hyderabad. One can find a wide range of lip smacking snacks and pasteries. The seating and interior doesn't excite you much. It had been left for renovation for quite a long time, nothing to complain about it though. There is no parking space and the visitors are forced to park their vehicles on the already busy road. Coming to the food, one shall not be disappointed with so many varieties of snacks to beat your cravings. The bread used is specially made which feels smooth and fresh, the 'Chicken 65 Roll', the 'Chicken American Hotdog' and 'Butter Bun' being some of my favorites. Most of the snacks arrive at around 12 pm while you can still get Veg/Non-Veg puffs and other appetisers anytime. The items available doesn't fill your stomach. If you are here to fill up your empty stomach then this is not the place for you. All the items feel easy on your pocket. Apart from snacks, we will find plenty of mouth watering pasteries. The cakes and pasteries stand out from all the other bakers in the surrounding. It's rich taste and flavor makes Sarvi one of the most popular bakeries in the city.

Rated It's criminal to be a Hyderabad based foodie, and not write a review for Sarvi Bakers, so here's my 2 bits of homage to the place which - I'm sure - even my grandchildren will go to someday! Sarvi Bakers is a treat for the taste buds as well as the pocket. If you are one for the new age bakeries with their grammatically correct burgers and artistically perfect pizzas, then Sarvi is definitely not for you. Sarvi is one of those 'cheap pizza selling', 'making burgers with their own imperfect artistic license' kind of places, which the Hyderabadi kids like flocking to. Places like these hold an old world charm to us. We go here because we love the food, we love the prices, and most of all - we love how it reminds us of simpler times when food was cheaper and had less nonsense in it! In my recommendations from this place, the 'Chicken Cheese Burger' and the 'Chicken Supreme Pizza' definitely top the list. I also remember, about 6 to 7 years back I was passing by Sarvi and I was really hungry. So I went in and ordered their 'Club Sandwich'. The sandwich was so delectable, that I ended up ordering one more!! Ever since, I order the same sandwich every time I go here. If you are not hungry enough for a club sandwich, but are feeling peckish, their 'Chicken Spl Slice', 'Mushroom Small', 'Butter Chicken Bun', and 'Veg Manchuria Slice' are great too! Most of these are snacks that are slowly falling into extinction, and guess what? They make the perfect munchies while watching a match or catching a movie alone on the telly. Moving on, I wouldn't really recommend Sarvi's pastries, they are not the best (I admit). However, sometimes I can't help going in and having a 'Walnut Brownie' or an 'Apricot Pie' just for old time's sake. Their Apricot pies are really good though. They are made on a firm, crusty base, and are sealed in with drizzled honey on top which adds to the taste. Sarvi makes really good garlic bread (I don't mean the appetizer kinds, but a whole packet of bread that you can take home to have with soups etc). If you appreciate the art of good loaf-making, then by all means take a pack home. You will find yourself coming back for more! Finally, before ending my review, I would also like to point out that their 'Osmania' biscuits are not to be missed. They make the perfect accompaniment with teas, and also make for lovely gifts to give when visiting out of town relatives. To some of us lovers of the city, Sarvi has become a part of it's heritage. It's simplicity and nostalgia are what keeps pulling us back, and back again to it's counters. If you give it a try, I bet you will be sending your children and grandchildren here too! Bon Appetite! thelastbohemian.in

One of my fav places to have bakery items, love this place in terms of variety. For many ppl Universal is way ahead, but i differ in terms of Hole in the Pockets, as taste is more or less similar with Universal and Sarvi. Coming to foods, hell lot of non veg varieties will be there, chicken criss cross, tandoori chicken roll, chicken puffs, chicken hotdog, and many more. Unlike other bakery non veg items r a total fuss, as its only the flavors of chicken u can get it, but its not the same with sarvi. Good nos of chicken pieces will be there most of their chicken variets. Prices varies from 18-50/- , where 18 is for the chicken puffs, and 50 is for chicekn hot doggs. Veggies don be so disappointed!!!! Similar kindda veg items also available, many varieties of pastries, cakes r real finglicious.. :) :) So if ur around banjara hills, need to have god bakery items, don miss SARVI... thumbs up.. !!! Food : 4/5 Price: 3.5/5

to be honest i didn't taste all the bakery stuff but for me the best evening snack at an unbelievable price available in the city is the Sarvi's Chicken Pie. the pastries are good too. the seating is a little limited because of the space available. most of the times i am standing and having my food with friends. but that is still negligible. the food available there is amazing.

An all rounder for Hyderabadi food. I love their subtle and succulent Biryani, juicy Shikhampuri kebabs and that great Haleem. Aircon seating is much appreciated.

Pretty good mutton haleem.. Not too heavy for light eaters.. Even though rich in ghee.. Pretty nice malai kebabs.. Biriyani is bit different.. Not too spicy or full of masala.. So anyone preferring light biryanis can give a shot

One of the best bakery when it comes to old school type of stuff with a very reasonable price. U can fill your stomach in under 150 bucks. Their veg hot dog, italian rolls, veg puff are really good. This place has been there for as long as i can remember. Its the best place to pick up a snack on the go.

After having haleem from a lot of local restaurants for the past few weeks we finally went to Sarvi on the recommendation of one of my local Muslim friends. According to her, Sarvi's haleem is better than Pista House. I am not sure if that is true but the haleem was quite different. Loaded with dry fruits and deep fried onions, this haleem was much thicker in consistency. The color was a bit different too. We ordered the Sarvi special haleem that was served with an egg, which was a first for us. I really liked the taste, it had the right amount of spices. Next we ordered the patthar ka gosht, which wasn't as good as Pista House but good in a different way. The mutton was very juicy and well cooked. The mutton dum biryani was the highlight of the dinner. Must say, it has to be one of the best biryanis ever. Its generous portion was too much for the two of us to finish. All in all, I would like to go back again and try some of their other specialities including juje kebab.

It's like a min walk from my office and I have been here for like 3 times and they have pleased me every single time. Last time I was there with my mom, well her impression of hyderabad was not so good, but the biriyani here left her speechless. Thanks Team Sarvi for being such a lovely host
